THE ORGANIZATION
The Global Health Supply Chain (GHSC) Program is a three-year USAID funded project intended to provide expert technical assistance to the Government of Tanzania in strengthening country supply systems, specifically in the areas of Strategic Planning, In-Country Logistics, Capacity Building and Enabling Environments. In support of this program, GHSC leadership is seeking qualified candidates for multiple positions:
Supply Chain Monitoring Advisors (SCMAs) Positions: 2 for each Region
Location: Moshi, Tanga, Dar, Mtwara, Iringa, Mbeya, Tabora, Dodoma and Zanzibar
Based in all MSD Zonal Stores and sales points, SCMAS will serve as the early warning system of the Logistics Management Unit (LMU) capable of identifying potential breakdowns in the logistics system and taking corrective and remedial actions to avoid service interruptions. In addition, SCMAs will coach and mentor the RHMT, CHMT and health facility based staff to improve data use, analyze available data and make decisions to prevent health products build-up or accumulation and
wastage in the distribution network. SCMAs will also coach and mentor health facility staff on commodity management practices, record keeping, reporting and ordering which will ensure consistent availability of supplies at the health facility levels
Remuneration:
A competitive remuneration and benefits package will be offered to the successful candidates for the above positions based off of qualifications, experience and salary history.
