PROCUREMENT OFFICERS (2 POSITIONS)
Tanzania Postal Bank (TPB) seeks to appoint dedicated, self-motivated and highly
organized Procurement officers (2 positions) to join the Procurement Management team
based in Dar es Salaam.
R eporting Line: Chief Manager Procurement
Locations: Dar es Salaam
W ork Schedule: As per TPB Staff regulations
Division: Procurement
Salary: Commensurate to the Job Advertised

Essential Duties and R esponsibilities:-
 Obtains quotations from suppliers/services providers, assess and vetting for suppliers
other than GPSA before being awarded any work with TPB and meet specifications
 Assist in preparation of tender notice, bidding documents and contract from time to
time.
 Assist in annual procurement plan in line with approved budget
 Ensures deliveries are made against orders in orderly manner.
 Ensures timely clearance of goods from the port/Airport.
 Undertakes customs, banking and insurance and other related documentation for
imported goods.
 Maintains good relationship with internal user and suppliers/service providers.
 Generation of periodic reports (producing regular reports and statistics on daily,
weekly and monthly basis.
 Prepares and processes requisitions and purchase orders for goods, works and

Education: Holder of Bachelor degree/Advanced diploma in Materials
Management or CSP/CPSP or related field Computer literacy is a
must
Ex perience: Must have a past experience of Procurement/Supplies duties for a
Minimum of three years
Must be registered by the Procurement and Supplies Professionals
and Technician Board.
