POST: Managing Director - National Service Construction Department.
WORK STATION: Dar es Salaam.
RESPONSIBLE TO: Executive Director of SUMAJKT
National Service Corporation Sole (SUMAJKT) seeks the services of a committed and reputable person to fill the position of the Managing Director (MD) in its construction company National Service Construction Department (NSCD). The company, has been registered with Contractors Registration Board (CRB) in the following categories: -
a. Building Contractor - Class I
b. Civil Work Contractor - Class IV
c. Electrical Contractor - Class IV
1. Duties and Responsibilities
a. Conducting, Evaluating and Controlling all SUMAJKT Construction and Engineering projects.
b. Implementing all company directives as given by Executive Director of SUMAJKT.
c. Planning and Conducting training for Technical Personnel so as to increase their productivity in various SUMAJKT projects.
d. Planning of new Projects and Investments to be undertaken by SUMAJKT.
e. Preparing Annual Budget for the company.
f. Executing any other company duties emerging from time to time.
Qualification and Experience
a. Must be a holder of BSC/ MSc Degree in Civil Engineering or B Arch / M Arch in Architectural Studies from recognized University or institutes.
b. Must be registered as a Professional or Consulting Engineer by Engineers Registration Board (ERB) or registered as an Architect by Architects and Quantity Surveyors Registration Board (AQRB).
c. Must have an experience of 7 - 10 years in Management of Construction activities in reputable companies and with clean working record.
d. Must be self-innovative and ambitious in transforming our company into larger reputable and business oriented entity.
e. The age of applicant should be between 40 - 55 years.
f. Applicant having the knowledge of Business Administration will have an added advantage.
g. Must be willing to work in military condition.
3. Remuneration
Attractive remuneration package in accordance with SUMAJKT Salary.
