Description
Responsible for providing in-house legal expertise and support in
driving various legal cases, legal issues, legal compliance and advise
the company on all legal and strategic initiatives.
Review Pending litigation and chalk out strategy for early closure of litigation
Facilitate preparation of litigation in line with group interest, by co-ordinating with concerned person within the group
Coordinate with managers for formulating general business strategy from the law perspective.
Provide regular updates to directors in terms of legal proceedings.
Update management and key executives with important developments in ligation generally concerning the laws
Collate / Consolidate supporting documents in a chronological order to manage the case efficiently
Review laws, amendments and support General Management with commercial and legal opinions and recommend measures to mitigate exposure and risks
Review and take corrective actions on legal implications of internal policies and procedures
Formulate compliance check-lists to be used for the purpose of ensuring that all information required is provided accordingly
Organizing and preparing agendas and papers for board meetings, committees and annual general meetings
Provide leadership and ensure efficient and effective management of staff and resources in the Legal department and other stake holders
Any other assignments assigned by the company requirements.
