General purpose
To assist in managing customer projects; practice project management tasks.

Main Responsibility Area
Assists in project management tasks. Plans and manages execution of part of the project or sub project. Ensures that all project milestones are met in own responsibility area by using global processes, tools and interfaces.

Typically 1-2 years relevant experience, fully competent. Uses functionally specific knowledge.

Qualifications
  • Perform the management of both reactive root-cause analysis and proactive trend analysis within telecom.  Management of the Major Incident Management (MIM) process and ensure adherence of the process and escalation requirements within the various support and delivery areas.
  • Education qualification : BE or equivalent
  • Experience: 3-5 Yrs.
  • Certification (If any): Not Mandatory but IT Certifications like ITIL, CCNA, JNIE etc would be useful.
  • 5 must have skills/ knowledge : 
  • Sound technical knowledge across the Telco domain with core competency on NSS and general competency in Paco/BSS/TX in Multivendor environment.
  • Very good understanding and awareness of Telecom Operations, process and procedures.
  • Strong individual with the ability to communicate and negotiate at all levels. 
  • Good organizational skills plus the ability to motivate people across the organization to provide solutions
  • Demonstrable customer management / service skills
Technical Responsibilities:
  •  Responsible for Reactive Fault Management and Root Cause Analysis,
  •  Trace and Logs Analysis.
  •  Working Knowledge of Ericsson & Huawei MGW, MSS, GMSCs, HLR, 
  •  Huawei STP
  •  Coordination with NPO, Fault Management and Alarm Management
  •  Teams
  •  CSR Handling (Fault Analysis, Troubleshooting) 
  •  Emergency handling & Corrective Maintenance in the network.
  •  Software updates and Upgrades
  •  New Features Implementation
  •  CORE network planning, NOC operations is a plus
General Understanding of SS7 network ,GPRS/3G, EPC/LTE & Esy call flows
Should have good troubleshooting knowledge to conclude the RCA for the outages.
Good communication skills.

Skills Required: 
  • Mandatory Skills -
  • Experience on MSC/VLR and HLR
  • Understanding of complete call flow in GSM system.
  • Hands on experience on GSM nodes HLR / VLR / MSC / GMSC / AUC/ Media Gateway. 
  • Routing concepts (SCCP, GTRC etc.)
  • Number Analysis
