2.Three years’ experience in reproductive, maternal and child health program/service planning
3.In-service training design and implementation experience
4.Experience in conducting needs assessment, and delivering in-service training
5. Experience with participatory action research, data collection & analysis and M&E
6. Experience working in a developing country
7.Experience working in remote regions in primary health care
Allowance and accommodation
All volunteers have an allowance paid in local currency. The allowance meets reasonable living expenses in country, but will not be enough to send money home.
VSO works with some of the poorest communities in the world which means accommodation varies and will be basic.

The purpose of this placement is to support building the capacity of program owners, project officers and supervisors assigned within the regional health system to coordinate MNCH program design, implementation and evaluation in the region. Ultimately, this position will work to improve the quality and reach of MNCH services and to reduce maternal and neonatal deaths in Kigoma region.Skills, qualifications and experience
1.Relevant Degree and/or professional training is desirable2.Three years’ experience in reproductive, maternal and child health program/service planning
