TAMWA EXTERNAL AUDITOR RECRUITMENT FOR 2017
Tanzania Media Women’s Association (TAMWA) is a non-partisan, non-profit sharing professional media Association registered in 1987. The Association which brings together more than 100 women journalists is renowned for its media advocacy activities for women and children’s rights.
In observing good governance, TAMWA has three main organs each with its powers and mandate, The Annual General meeting (AGM), the Governing Board (GB) and the Secretariat. The Secretariat is the implementer of TAMWA’s strategic plans and runs the Association’s daily activities.
TAMWA’s policy is to recruit a new Auditor after every three years. The current Auditor will audit TAMWA report for 2016. His term has come to an end. TAMWA is now recruiting a new Auditor for 2017 – 2019.
TAMWA financial year is 31st December, and the audited report has to be ready before the end of March of the following year so that it can be presented to the Annual General Meeting (AGM) for approval before its circulation.
